Senior SEO Executive
An exciting opportunity for a Senior SEO Executive to play a pivotal role in delivering world-class search engine optimisation across our club e-commerce platform.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior SEO Executive to manage the maintenance and optimisation of our online commercial presence, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional consumer experience for our supporters.
Using data-driven insights and a sharp attention to detail, this role will oversee the organic search strategies for our Arsenal Direct website. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).
Your day-to-day
- Take channel ownership - you’ll take full responsibility for organic search across our e-commerce site, implementing technical onsite and offsite improvements

- Provide categorisation advice - you’ll provide expert guidance on product categorisation, partnering with our Trade team to inform category creation and removal
- Develop SEO roadmaps - you will design and deliver comprehensive SEO roadmaps covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders
- Conduct technical audits - you’ll carry out monthly technical audits of our e-commerce platform and raise Jira tickets for developers as needed
- Collaborate with wider teams - you will work closely with the Commercial and Paid Media teams to prevent cannibalisation between paid and organic strategies
- Stay ahead of developments - you will ensure Arsenal Direct meets technical standards and remains aligned with emerging trends, keeping the site optimised for AI and bot accessibility
