Arsenal Student: Post 16 Education
Course Overview
The NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Sport pathways are intended for learners aged 16+ and provide the introductory skills to either start a career in sport or progress within employment in the sector.
NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport (Sports, Exercise & Fitness) is designed as a 1-year, full time course and provides the foundations to progress onto the NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity.
NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity (Sports Coaching) is designed as a 2-year, full time programme and will provide direct pathway into further education, apprenticeships, and sports based employment.
Entry Requirements
NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport (Sports, Exercise & Fitness): Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, where possible, including English Language or Maths.
NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport & Physical Activity (Sports Coaching): Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, where possible, including English Language and Maths.
