Retail Marketing Manager

The Role
We are looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to play a crucial role in the delivery of our annual retail marketing plan to drive growth across ecommerce and stores. This is a fast-paced dynamic position responsible for launching multiple campaigns per season, alongside sustaining always-on activity across owned, paid and earned media to hit ambitious targets.
In this exciting role, you and your two direct reports will collaborate with our Senior Retail Marketing Manager and support the planning and execution of kit launches and additional high-profile product launches and you'll be empowered to deliver meaningful moments that resonate with supporters and customers alike; offering a best-in-class experience both online and in store.

Your day-to-day
- Deliver our annual retail marketing plan - you'll partner with our Senior Retail Marketing Manager to deliver against ambitious annual growth targets and support the development of wider retail marketing strategies and you will manage day-to-day budgets, tracking and optimising spend
- Lead on all retail marketing executions - you will relish the opportunity to drive all end-to-end retail marketing executions across owned and operated, paid and earned media channels to boost ecommerce and stores sales on a day-to-day basis
- Play a vital role in critical product launches - you'll support the planning and lead on execution of Adidas kit launches as well as other high-profile product launches throughout the season
- Collaborate with colleagues across our club - you will create thorough marketing plans for key product drops across launch and sustain phases in collaboration with our wider Marketing and Retail teams, uniting with colleagues across Social, Paid Media, Data and Insights, Creative Studio, Product, Ecommerce and Stores to ensure retail products are showing up consistently and frequently across the online and store ecosystem
- Provide impactful reporting - you'll diligently produce detailed, timely and accurate reports of campaigns, leveraging data and insights, and you will feed into weekly trade analysis and lead on trade related marketing actions
- Champion our supporters - you will take pride in overseeing our in-store marketing approach to drive footfall and spend, and you'll passionately build and uphold an expert understanding of our supporter segments, uncovering innovative ways to serve them across the matchday and non-matchday retail experience
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders - you'll work closely with retail stakeholders to shape monthly plans and prioritise key messaging for supporters across all channels and you will project manage external agencies, as well as act as the day-to-day marketing contact with external retail partners such as Adidas
- Inspire and mentor direct reports - you will proactively manage and mentor a Senior Retail Marketing Executive and a Retail Marketing Executive
What we are looking for
- Background in retail marketing - you're equipped with experience in retail marketing and are able to demonstrate proven results
- Knowledge of retail business and consumer fashion - you are well versed in the dynamics of retail and the nuances of rolling out marketing plans in the consumer fashion landscape
- Performance marketing experience - you've previously applied your expertise across a variety of channels including email, social and paid media
- Inspiring leader - you thrive when you're mentoring and managing direct reports, prioritising their growth and development whilst pulling the team towards a common goal
- History of managing external partners - you've successfully managed agencies and internal creative teams to deliver outstanding work
- Exceptional communicator - you pride yourself on your effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Collaborative mindset - you're passionate about teamwork with a winning work ethic and you eagerly seek out opportunities to collaborate with a range of colleagues
- Superior organisational skills - you can easily manage multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently and you excel in a fast-paced environment
