Academy Goalkeeping Coaches (Casual Roles)
An exciting opportunity to join us on a casual basis and provide coaching support to our Under 9-16s age groups, helping to develop our Goalkeepers to reach their full potential.
The Role
We are looking for Academy Goalkeeping Coaches on a casual basis to deliver training sessions and support on matchdays across Under 9-16s age groups to help develop our Goalkeepers to reach their full potential.

Your day-to-day
- Deliver engaging coaching sessions - you will take pride in planning, delivering and reviewing age appropriate coaching sessions within our Academy periodisation plan and playing philosophy
- Play a key role in player development - you'll eagerly contribute to the development of world class players and lifelong students of the game
- Provide insightful plans and reviews - you will diligently submit session plans, match reports, attendance and player reviews to our Lead Goalkeeping Coach, supporting with the delivery of mid and full season meetings with players and parents/guardians
- Uphold our high standards - you'll be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our equipment and you will maintain discipline as set out in our club's code of conduct
- Recognise potential talent - you will identify players of potential and report on them to assist player recruitment
- Act as an ambassador for our club - you'll strive to uphold our Academy and wider club values and adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to our club and its operation
What we are looking for
- Background in academy coaching - you come with experience as an Academy Coach in the U9-U16 age groups, and an up to date understanding of long term player development and modern coaching methods and strategies
- Credible expertise - you hold (or are working towards) a UEFA B Goalkeeping Coach Award and an FA Youth Award Module 3
- Certifications in safeguarding and emergency aid - you hold valid and up to date Safeguarding Children and Emergency Aid certificates
- Best-in-class communicator - you're proud of your ability to communicate effectively with parents/guardians, coaches and players of varying ages and experience
- Excellent attention to detail - you're able to produce impactful and accurate written and verbal reports
- Confident IT skills - you can work with a variety of software packages and tools
