People Services Administrator

The Role
We are looking for a People Services Administrator to provide high impact, value add People/HR support services to our managers, colleagues and the wider People team.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a pivotal role in supporting employees at all levels; you will be the first point of contact for our people and through practical employee lifecycle administration, you will ensure everyone gets a consistently brilliant experience with the People team.

Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.
Your day-to-day
Handle first-line query management - you’ll deliver prompt, accurate and supportive responses to a range of queries, providing clear guidance aligned with policies, processes and people practices
Provide comprehensive data and systems administration - you’ll ensure accuracy when updating HR systems and electronic files for new starters, changes, absences and leavers
Champion efficient document creation - you’ll prepare a high volume of varied contracts and agreements, working with pace and accuracy, ensuring all details are fully checked and compliant before issuing
Oversee onboarding and compliance coordination - you’ll oversee pre‑employment checks, including DBS and right‑to‑work, with thorough attention to accuracy, timelines and regulatory requirements
Support the payroll and employee lifecycle - you’ll prepare payroll inputs and reports to a high standard and contribute to annual people routines such as pay review, bonus cycles, performance cycles and surveys
Aid financial processing - you’ll raise purchase orders and approve invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring alignment with internal financial procedures and documentation requirements
Partner with our wider People team - you’ll provide reliable support across operations, talent development, reward and talent acquisition when required
Uphold compliance and governance - you’ll apply GDPR, employment legislation and internal policies effectively, producing well‑structured notes for employee relations casework and demonstrating fairness and inclusion in all interactions
What we are looking for
Track record in a People or HR team - you bring hands‑on experience having managed day‑to‑day HR and People administration, maintaining accurate records, documentation and databases with precision
Trusted first point of contact - you’ve supported a wider HR or People team, taking pride in delivering timely, end‑to‑end resolutions to employee queries
On boarding and off boarding expert - you have proactively led processes across multiple systems to prepare contracts and complete a range of vetting checks with confidence and efficiency
Proactive payroll support experience - you have provided accurate and timely employee data, including starters, leavers, absences and contractual changes, taking full ownership of data integrity
Employee focused mindset - you're genuinely passionate about helping others and providing a reliable and approachable service
Confident communicator - you communicate clearly and professionally across written, verbal and in‑person interactions, building impactful and effective working relationships
Proactive and accountable approach - you take ownership of your work, ensuring every task is driven through to completion and issues are resolved but also understand when to escalate and reach out for support
Exceptional attention to detail - you take pride in producing accurate work and spotting potential inconsistencies early
