Camera Operator / Assistant Editor

The Role
We are looking for a Camera Operator / Assistant Editor to join our growing Video team and play a key role in delivering exceptional content across all areas.
You will collaborate with the Camera Operations Manager and Senior Producer / Editor to ensure that our club is renowned for making best-in-class video content. In this exciting role, you'll be shooting and assistant editing a diverse range of work with the Women's and Men's First Teams as well as our Academy teams; you will play a vital part in the creation of a vast array of content including matchdays, training coverage and long form documentaries.

Your day-to-day
- Shoot a diverse range of video - you'll be entrusted to shoot match features, training sessions, interviews, press conferences, long form formats and new signing and contract renewal videos
- Prepare all edits for broadcast - you will ingest, manage, log and transcribe media and will also resize video pieces for various platforms and add subtitles, plus search for library music and stock footage. You will have an understanding of delivery formats across social media and broadcast. There will also be opportunities to edit packages and features
- Act as first port of call for our content - you will respond swiftly to footage requests from across the club and from external media companies
- Uphold our high standards - you'll be instrumental in maintaining the department's video output as a market leader in both content and style
- Ensure department best practice is followed - you will be responsible for making sure department workflows and data management protocols are observed and for ensuring all footage is captured and stored appropriately
What we are looking for
- Track record of creating video content - you come with extensive experience of producing, shooting and editing sport content
- Hands-on experience with key equipment and workflows - you're well versed in working with a wide range of video cameras, editing software, media management software and general production workflows
- Exceptional communication skills - you pride yourself on your ability to build impactful relationships with a wide range of colleagues
