Commercial Marketing Manager (Retention)

The Role
We are looking for a Commercial Marketing Manager (Retention) to be responsible for the creation and delivery of annual marketing plans to drive and protect revenue across multiple experience-based products with a focus on retention. This is a fast-paced dynamic position responsible for all seasonal based products, memberships and experiences at our club.
This exciting role involves planning and executing renewal campaigns for both season ticket holders and members as well as enhancing the year-round offering for these loyal supporter bases to protect important revenue streams. You'll collaborate with the Senior Commercial Marketing Manager and will work closely alongside the Acquisition Marketing Manager to integrate plans. Within this position, you'll also be entrusted with the line management of a dedicated team member.

Your day-to-day
- Produce and deliver integrated retention focused marketing plans - you'll be empowered to create and execute the annual comms strategy for all paid members and season ticket holders, nurturing and retaining these audiences throughout the season (including season ticket renewal and paid member acquisition campaigns) and you'll oversee the seasonal hospitality offering, to reduce churn and elevate supporter experiences
- Act as a key marketing contact - you will proudly be the day-to-day marketing contact for relevant stakeholders across across seasonal products and
ensure stakeholder buy-in on marketing plans and tactics - Champion our supporters - you will passionately oversee all promotional and service communications to our retained supporter base and lead on driving automation, innovation and efficiency
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders - you'll partner with our Senior Commercial Marketing Manager and input into wider marketing strategies and produce innovative, detailed and strategic annual marketing plans and lead on upfront alignment across departments and stakeholders
- Unite with wider colleagues across our club - you'll form impactful relationships with peers in our Brand, Creative and Digital and Insights teams; leveraging and optimising owned and operated platforms, briefing and producing world-class creative assets and setting up dashboards and KPI reporting to track performance metrics and produced detailed and accurate reports
- Develop a thorough knowledge of supporter segments - you will eagerly build a comprehensive understanding of our supporter segments to create targeted campaigns, sharing your expertise and championing segmentation across our club
- Cross-promote commercial experiences - you'll work closely with our Content and Retail teams to maximise engagement and revenue while guiding supporters through the marketing funnel and our club ecosystem
- Inspire and mentor a direct report - you'll be entrusted to coach and manage a direct report and to mentor other team members, setting clear objectives and providing support to set our people up for success
What we are looking for
- Background in retention based commercial marketing - you've got experience in creating and managing engaging communications and campaigns to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn with a focus on automation
- Performance marketing experience - you've worked across a variety of channels including email, social and paid to deliver consistent revenue growth and engagement
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - you're proud of your ability to work successfully with external agency partners and internal creative teams
- Project management mindset - you're well versed in diligently managing a variety of projects concurrently, keeping to scope, timelines and budgets and taking stakeholders on the journey with you
